How To Fold Pants - Written Instructions And How To Videos

Learning how to fold pants is not so difficult to do.

The key to folding pants is to determine whether or not you want them to have a crease when you fold them.

If the pants have a crease you align the outer seams and inseams of the legs so that when you fold the crease forms at the front of the legs.

This video below shows the technique for folding pants with a crease.

Now, if your pants do not have a crease in the front you will fold them a bit differently.

When there is no crease you instead line up the legs of the pants so that no crease is made in the front of the legs of the pants.

This video below provides you with additional visual instructions, and also shows you how you would fold jeans, if you are no putting a crease in them with an iron.

Finally, instead of folding them, sometimes pants are hung up. When you hang pants up on hangers there are two methods to choose from.

The first of these is to fold them over a hanger with a thick bar, so you don't create a crease where they are folded over the hanger.

The other method is to use a hanger with a clamp to either hang the pants upside down, by the cuff, or right side up by the waist.
