Hot Apple Cider Recipe With Cranberry Juice
This hot apple cider recipe, which uses the secret ingredient of cranberry juice, is great on a fall day when the air is crisp and cool.
I made mine in the crockpot, so I could place it in there and have it ready after an hour or two without having to watch it.
It gave the added benefit of perfuming the whole house with an apple, cinnamon and cranberry scent that was just delicious.
I always make a hot spiced cider recipe on Halloween night, as part of my family's Halloween traditions, and this hot cranberry cider may just become the new favorite for that occasion.
If you want to cook it on the stove instead just bring it to a boil, and then reduce heat to let it simmer for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Use a slotted spoon to help remove the spices before serving.
This makes about 5 mugs of cider. Just increse or decrease the proportions depending on how much you want to make.
