Good Use For Sticky Back Plastic

Having just had my kitchen re-modernized and painted there was precious little space for my waste bin where spills could easily be wiped away.

I set it against the wall and already have small but noticeable bare patches on the paintwork, the proper sticky back plastic in major d.i.y stores was expensive for the meter or so needed so when in a stationers shop I came across the same type of stuff only its used to cover kids exercise books and more than a fraction of the cost.

I bought some clear plastic, found it to have measurements marked on the backing and HEY- PRESTO, no unsightly plastic looking out of place on the wall behind my bin, and a perfect wipe clean surface for a damp cloth.
