Thanksgiving Sites For Your Family To Enjoy

I have found these Thanksgiving sites over the years, while getting ready for Thanksgiving, and add to the list each year. I wanted to share them with you too.

I hope you enjoy them. Contact me if you know of some real gems that I haven't discovered, and I will place them on my list.

  • Thanksgiving crafts for kids at FreeKidsCrafts.com
  • Thanksgiving coloring pages also at FreeKidsCrafts.com
  • Thanksgiving activities and crafts for your kids - this website, East-Child-Crafts.com, is made by my friend Susie and her daughter, and they have some great ideas for all kinds of holidays you should try out from across the web. In addition, her son is a talented artist and he draws all their original Thanksgiving printable coloring pages, so the site is truly a family affair. Plus, you can't get the coloring pages on this site anywhere else!
  • Cranberry orange relish recipe from Disney Family Fun, because I just love homemade fresh cranberry relish, especially with orange in it
  • Easy pumpkin pie recipe - my friend Tiffany has a great website called Quick-And-Easy-Dinner.com, and she has this wonderful holiday recipe up that you should try!
  • Teaching children the meaning of Thanksgiving from More4Kids has a nice essay on how and why to teach your kids the meaning of Thanksgiving
  • MakeDinnerEasy.com's Easy Thanksgiving Dinner Ideas Ebook - This 31 page ebook ($3.99) was written by my friend Crystal. It includes a step-by-step planning guide, make ahead recipes, a menu plus recipes for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner complete with dessert, and a grocery shopping list already put together for you! What an easy way to prepare and plan for your Thanksgiving meal!

Finally, last but not least, is one of my favorite Thanksgiving video clips with the Peanuts gang celebrating Thanksgiving around a ping pong table.

It's a reminder that it isn't really what you eat for Thanksgiving that is important, but celebrating with your friends and family that is more important!
