Laundry Care Label: Decode Yours Easily And Accurately

Have you noticed that the care label on your clothes has gotten more confusing lately?

Not only do you have to know what the words on laundry tag mean (and when you can and cannot ignore them), but you must also now interpret drawn laundry symbols that have replaced the words.

The FTC originally created a resource for consumers to use, but since then the PDF has been taken down. Instead, I have now found another chart of laundry symbols and what they mean. I suggest that you print off the first page of this chart and post it in your laundry room for reference.

In addition, however, I have found this video which gives a good primer on what these symbols mean, so that you can do your laundry with ease.
