Car Trash Can: Over The Seat Garbage Bin

If you spend much time in your car at all, you know that it is easy to accumulate trash in it.

This is especially true if you have kids, and/or you eat and drink in your car.

Instead of just throwing the trash and garbage on the floor of the car, and having to deal with it later, you may want to get yourself a container to hold trash.

There are two main types of products designed to hold garbage in your car, a bag or a can. There are advantages to either you choose, and what is right for you is based on your particular habits and needs.

I would not advise getting a can for your car that sits on the floor, because these are too easily knocked over or tip when the car makes a turn, for example, spilling trash everywhere which basically defeats the purpose of getting something to contain your trash in the first place.

Instead, if you choose to get a can I suggest one, like the product shown, which you strap onto the back of a seat of the car, to hold it and keep it from tipping over. This one is also easy to unstrap from the seat for easily emptying the can periodically.
