Best Books Of All Time (Or At Least Really Great, Fun Or Inspiring Reads)

Everyone has their own personal list of best books of all time, that we read over and over. Share yours and I'll tell you some of mine too.

Everyone, especially us home managers, parents, and caregivers need to take a time out with some well earned time for ourselves.

One of my favorite things to do in my down time is read. Sometimes I read books that give me ideas and help with being a better home manager, and those books are what I recommended in my recommended reading lists for home managers.

But, we also need to have books just for fun, that inspire us, make us cry, are really funny, or otherwise make you think, "that's one of the best books of all time!"

I know I have some books like that, that I come back to over and over again, and I'll be sharing them with you over time.

A bonus for us taking time out to read, even just for ourselves, is that it is actually one of the best ways to instill the reading habit in our kids. They see us enjoying books and they will appreciate them more themselves.

Here's one that hasn't even come out yet, but I'm totally thrilled about it -- The Land of Painted Caves. I can't say it will be any good, but it is part of the Earth's Children series, written by Jean Auel, and I have been waiting for this book to come out for literally years!

It is the sixth in the series, so I wouldn't suggest starting it without reading the others first, but you will be so glad you read at least the first one, The Clan of the Cave Bear. (Hint, don't watch the movie instead, it stank!) I'll write a full review later, I promise.

I also want to hear what you believe are the best fiction books, nonfiction book, or whatever that you really enjoy in your down time.
